NOTICE OF HEARING

This is to inform you that the Perry Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Regular Meeting at the Township Administration Office located at 3111 Hilton St. N.W., Massillon, Ohio on Monday evening, May 7th 2012 at 7:30 PM. The following Appeal Case(s) will be heard:
CASE 09-12A – WILLIAM L. SHANOWER – 4414 BARBIE AVE SW, MASSILLON,
OHIO 44646, PARCEL #43-13062
William L. Shanower – 4414 Barbie Ave SW, Massillon, Ohio 44646, has made an application for a variance to construct a 40’ X 28’ X 16’ detached garage at the above stated address. The proposed detached garage will exceed the allowed square footage by three hundred forty (340) sq. ft. in an R-2 Single and two-family Residential District. CASE 10-12A – ROBERT MODRANSKI – 3966 SHEPLER CHURCH AVE SW, CANTON, OHIO 44706, PARCEL #43-00680, 43-19334, 43-16611
Robert Modranski – 3966 Shepler Church Ave SW, Canton, Ohio 44706 has made an application to amend a variance granted April 2nd, 2012 case 07-12A that variance allowed applicant to construct a 36’ X 48’ X 17.5’ detached garage and remove existing shed (252 sq. ft.) at the above stated address. The applicant is requesting to build a 36’ X 44’ X 17.5’ detached garage and keep existing (252 sq. ft.) at the above stated address in an R-2 Single and two-family Residential District. Mike Kennedy – 4334 Erie Ave SW, Navarre, Ohio 44662 has made application for a variance to install a 4’ X 8’ pole sign. The proposed sign will be (8) feet from the right-of-way where (15) feet from right-of-way is required in a B-2 Commercial District. [Section 801.7 B – Perry Township Zoning Resolution]
Applications are on file and available for your inspection at the Township Offices, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Failure of the applicant or his duly appointed representative to appear at the Public Hearing may be justification for the rejection of the Appeal.
Any and all other interested parties are urged to attend the Hearing to be advertised in the Massillon Independent on or before April 27, 2012.
